The Program Manager- Vendor Management, assigned to one of Pinkerton's largest global clients, will play a critical role in the enhancement and coordination of GPS' business support programs including Vendor Management and Policy and Technical Publications (PTP).This role provides operational leadership for the assigned programs, under the strategic direction of GPS leadership, and ensures key program objectives, outcomes, and activities are consistently delivered.The Manager participates in vendor management activities across the organization that are focused on strategic-level engagement with the client's senior leadership and Corporate Security's range of vendor partner organizations while also collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to ensure effective business management practices are developed and maintained.Essential Functions:
Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.Deliver comprehensive global vendor management program strategies aligned with Corporate Security's business objectives.Provide program management support to the existing Policies and Technical Publications program team.Deliver comprehensive global vendor management program strategies aligned with Corporate Security's business objectives.Develop and execute a comprehensive vendor relationship management strategy including selection, evaluation, and performance measurement.Foster and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure alignment with the client's organizational objectives, quality standards, and service levels.Continuously assess vendor performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement action plans to optimize vendor relationships.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate vendor-related risks and enhance supply chain resilience.Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of supply chain operations.Provide regular reporting and analysis to executive leadership on supply chain performance and business outcomes.Drive consistent program performance in relation to formal business and program metrics and targets.Directly inform and/or develop internal policies and standards related to supply chain operations.Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.Lead, manage, mentor, and support a team of embedded contingent workers of multiple role types.Oversee the contingent worker program and ensure the efficient and compliant onboarding, management, and offboarding of temporary staff.Collaborate with HR, Finance, Procurement and Compliance teams to streamline the contingent worker process, ensure cost-effectiveness, and compliance with labor regulations.Monitor and assess the utilization of contingent workers to maximize their contribution to business objectives.Lead and support various business optimization initiatives aimed at enhancing supply chain efficiency, reduce risk and/or costs, and improve overall business outcomes.Continuously review and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement, operational efficiency, and implementation of best practices.All other duties, as assigned.Education, Experience, and Certifications:Bachelor's degree (or higher) in supply chain management or business operations with seven years of supply chain management and strategic planning experience within a regional or global corporate environment.
