Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund (ASPSF) is seeking a ProgramManager to oversee its scholarship program, manage volunteers, andfundraise within the eight-county Southeast Region. This full-time,exempt, work-from-home position reports to the Program Director.

The ASPSF Program Manager is directly responsible for 1) servicedelivery, 2) local fundraising, and 3) community outreach/visibility inthe assigned region while effectively using volunteers in every aspectof the work.
Essential Duties:
1) VOLUNTEERS
Successful volunteer recruitment and retention are essential to the PMssuccess. The PM will:
Recruit continually, developing a healthy pipeline of newvolunteers.Work closely with a large, diverse volunteer workforce throughoutthe region.Consider individual skills, experience, and interest in placingvolunteers.Provide orientation and training appropriate for the different areasof work.Promote qualified volunteers to leadership positions; support themin these leadership roles.Provide performance feedback and correction as needed, includingdisciplinary action up to and including termination when necessarydue to policy violations or inappropriate actions.2) SERVICE DELIVERY
Oversee the Scholarship Process
Advertise scholarship application deadlines throughout the region.Provide support to individuals needing help with the application.Follow established procedures and meet deadlinesPresent scholarship awards in a way that honors each recipient whilerecognizing donors, volunteers, and others who support our scholars.Each awards program includes an educational component.Provide Personal and Professional Development opportunities
Offer a variety of workshops annually to increase the professionaland personal skills of the single parents served.Provide avenues for scholars to grow their professional networksthrough interaction with educators, community leaders, and localemployers.Invite Alumni Engagement
Provide avenues for program alums to remain involved with theprogram, the scholars, and local fundraising efforts.3) FUNDRAISING AND RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT
Meet or exceed the annual revenue goal for the region established inthe Board-approved budget.Maintain an active schedule of meetings and communication withdonors and prospects.Conduct local fundraising events and activities, increasing netrevenue while increasing the number and engagement level of theregions donors.Support Fund Development staff with local knowledge, research, andstatistics for their fundraising efforts in the region andthroughout the state.4) MEDIA AND OUTREACH
Maintain an active schedule of public speaking and presentations,actively promoting our mission, brand, services, and needs acrossthe assigned region.Meet regularly with multiple staff at our partner schools.Assist the Communication Director in creating and distributingmaterials in the region.5) RECORDING-KEEPING
Maintain accurate data on all recipients, volunteers, and communitystakeholders.Complete assigned reports on time.Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications:
The Program Manager (PM) must live within the assigned region and haveadequate spa e and arrangement for a home office. A successful candidatewill:
Have knowledge and experience in volunteer management, programplanning and evaluation, and financial management within an approvedbudget.Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.Relate well with persons of all races, ethnicities, and social andeconomic backgrounds.Work successfully with individuals and groups.Possess strong public speaking ability and strong computer skills.Be organized, self-directed, flexible, and creative.Working knowledge of postsecondary processes, including but not limitedto degree planning, financial aid, and career development is a plus.
