They will lead activities associatedwith the financial operations of the businesses including cost accounting,financial and management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and internalcontrols. Role will report to P/L leadership.Primary Duties andResponsibilities:Prepare, execute and report the financial plans (Eg Budgets, Forecasts, Long range plans) for the business.Working with leadership to provide support through business analysis, strategic oversight, identification of areas for improvement and management of key projects, including product margin and customer margin analysis.Manage the financial statement close process to timely and accurate completion while ensuring conformity with TriMas accounting policies, procedures and control requirements.Ensure preparation of weekly and monthly forecasts of the income statement, balance sheet and cash flows.Forecast and work with project owners on capital spendingAnalyze, review and report metrics to determine the operational effectiveness of our manufacturing operations and business processesMaintain an accurate system of standard and actual costs and analyze manufacturing variances, including process improvementsFollow accounting policies and practices to conform with US GAAP accounting and Sarbanes-Oxley control requirementsKey part of the management team and work with other finance leaders in the business.Ensure environmental metrics are uploaded into the Velocity system on a monthly basis.Support all EHS activities and strictly Reporting on the performance of the quality management system and on opportunities for improvement to management.Ensuring that the integrity of the quality management system is maintained when changes to the quality management system are planned and implemented.Support all EHS activities and strictly adhere to all work instructions and safety procedures.Immediately report any unsafe or unhealthy working condition to your supervisor/leadership adhere to all work instructions and safety procedures.Immediately report any unsafe or unhealthy working condition to your supervisor/leadershipQualificationsQualifications andSkills:BS in Accounting or Finance5-7 years experience in Accounting and Finance.CPA or CMA is preferredStrong financial and/or managerial accounting skillsDemonstrated ability to effectively lead and facilitate teamsAdvanced skills with accounting and financial consolidations systemsStrong business acumenAbility to anticipate changing business needs and communicate potential external risksLean/Six Sigma problemsolving experience a plus.Projectand process management.Key PerformanceIndicators:Supportachievement of Rieke's financial targets including revenue, operatingincome, working capital and return on invested capital (ROIC)Successfulcompletion of SOX and GAAP auditsAccurateforecasting of the income statement, net working capital, capital andother targets.Closeprocess metrics including on-time completion and accuracy rate.Accurateaccounting for inventory.
