The Program Manager of the Illinois Breast & Cervical Program and Wise Woman program is responsible for managing the day- to- day operations, overall supervision, hiring, budget, education and discipline of these Programs.
The Program Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining the budget and submitting monthly reports to the State of Illinois. They will also be required to participate in bi-annual desk audits as well as on-site audits conducted every 3 years. The Program Manager must be knowledgeable about line- item transfers per each grant’s specifications and guidelines.
This position also requires the Program Manager to conduct random audits to ensure that program is within target with the State’s budget.
Position responsibilities:
Manages the day- to- day operations of both the Illinois Breast & Cervical Cancer Program and the Wise Woman Programs including: Independently overseeing all patient care, hires, orientates and evaluates all staff, and provides all basic functionalities of Human Recourses.
Manages the grant budget(s) as well as assures adherence to grant(s) guidelines in regard to clinical application as well as financial.
Provides direct patient care to women regarding breast and cervical screening and treatment as well as care related to
heart disease. All staying within their line of scope of practice of their licenses.
Reports all complex data in mandated formats to the state and federal entities in the mandated timeframe.
Requirements:
5 years clinical experience required. Clinical experience in a grant position preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
Prior management experience preferred.
Current IL RN License required.
