Job Summary:
This role involves strategically managing the Competitor channel's purchases and sales accounts. The position plays a pivotal role in shaping Messer's operations & supply chain, P&L performance, and maintaining a strong reputation within the industrial gases industry.

Principal Responsibilities:
Account management of purchase, sale, swap and JV agreements. Includes price adjustments, competitor notifications, TOPs, renewals, budgeting, and overall management and of agreementsSupport Competitor channel P&L performance, aligning it with product and business initiativesSupport in competitive interactions, handling some commercial negotiations with industrial gas competitors.Collaborate with ASU, CO2, and HE/H2 Product Management & Strategy teams to align competitor channel activities with product line strategies.Work closely with Product Management and Supply Chain Planning, to evaluate product purchases, sales, trades, and joint investments.Utilize Salesforce and other tools to effectively manage the sales portfolio for the Competitor channel.Maintain an up-to-date database of competitor agreements, ensuring accessibility for the Product Management team.Manage the RFQ process for competitor opportunities, acting as either a buyer or seller on behalf of Messer.Handle disputes and resolution processes related to competitor interactions.Provide active support to Messer's Payables and Receivables teams in managing competitor accounts.Assist the sales team with issues related to competitor activity, including hold harmless requirements and account transitions.Prepare reporting, presentations, and analysis as required for competitor strategy and deals for stakeholder review, alignment and approval.Required Skills:

Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experienceBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a similar field.Preferred Qualifications
