Join our dynamic and innovative team as a Program Manager, AthleticTrainer (AT) in Mount Vernon, IL! We are seeking a results-drivenprofessional who is passionate about injury prevention and improving thewell-being of industrial athletes in a large manufacturing facility.This position will play a pivotal role in enhancing the safety andproductivity of employees while fostering a progressive and supportivework environment!
What will you be doing in this role?
Develop and manage programs and personnel.Provide proactive injury prevention and early symptom intervention.Offer first aid injury care and ergonomic postural/body mechaniceducation.Work one-on-one with manufacturing employees to assess risk, providecoaching, and promote wellness.Coordinating and implementing rehabilitation treatment plans thatincorporate therapeutic exercise, modalities, and work conditioningas necessary.Collaborate with Safety Department, Medical Staff, and Productionteam to assess risks and determine ergonomic solutions.Ensure a work environment that maximizes comfort, safety, andproductivity.Implement and enforce standards in collaboration with the Safety andHealth Department.Facilitate restrictions and return to work processes.Keep accurate documentation and provide feedback for continuoushealth improvements.Coordinate staff schedules to maintain coverage.Provide reports with key metrics to leadership, client partners, andoperations management.This does not necessarily list all responsibilities, duties,requirements, or efforts associated with the job. Our ideal candidate will have:
A Bachelors degree in Athletic TrainingThe required state licensure, certification, and registration thatis in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain therequired state licensureCPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it prior to the startof employment; maintain and provide proof of currentcertification(s)Have previous supervisory and program management experience;industrial setting preferredBasic knowledge of workers\' compensation and OSHA regulations,preferredThe ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the entire assignedshiftPrevious ergonomic and/or occupational health experience is a plusA high degree of professionalism in both written and verbalcommunicationThe ability to work both independently and in a team environment,without constant supervisionBe able to maintain confidentialityStrong computer skills, including proficiency with databases andwith Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word,PowerPoint, and ExcelWhat you get from us:
