The primary responsibility of the role is totrain, develop, and supervise professional case management staff,referred to as Housing Advocates, to advance the mission of The RoadHome. The Program Manager for various sites is responsible for workingtowards partnership and system goals/improvements with family housingagencies and the Homeless Services Consortium. You will contribute by:Supervise 6-8 department staff, via weekly check in meetings andadditional ongoing consultation as needed Motivate staff to achievegoals through individual and group supervision, coaching, and goals.setting, and training/professional development Organize trainings andtopics for case managers meetings (generally once per month) Assist inhiring and onboarding staff when needed. Review and evaluate staffperformance. Process referrals for program eligibility and overseecaseload distribution for team Support the planning and development ofnew programs, ensuring grant compliance and an equity lens Implement andmonitor a strengths-based, solution-focused approach to case managementfor programs and services Ensure the timely flow of case managementactivities to meet program goals and objectives for 4-5 programs Delivercomplex case management for cases that demand higher level solutions.Mediate client grievances and facilitate case management/client issues.Provide insight on evaluating and improving programs and proceduresOversee data entry and accuracy and complete reports as needed Overseeprogram paperwork and complete quarterly file checks for case managersEnsure effective program operations and compliance with funderexpectations and goals Work with Program Leadership team to developconsistent practices, procedures, and forms as appropriate Work closelywith The Salvation Army, YWCA, and other partner agencies to effectivelycoordinate services across agencies/programs Liaison between otheragencies, funders, and case managers as needed, especially in regards toprogram planning and evaluation Actively participate in the Dane CountyHomeless Services Consortium and represent The Road Home on committeesas appropriate In coordination with Program Director and ExecutiveDirector, attend program-related community, coalition and committeemeetings as needed To be successful in this role, you will need:Bachelor\'s Degree required, but Master\'s in Social Work or relatedfield is preferred Previous Supervisory experience is required.Effective written and oral communication, presentation, andtechnological skills are required. Basic knowledge working withMicrosoft office, Google suite, particularly Google Sheets is required.Must have the ability to structure and prioritize a wide range of tasks,and meet objectives in a timely manner. At least three years ofexperience working with nonprofits with diverse populations is required.Critical thinking and assessment skills are required. Must have andmaintain a valid state driver\'s license, maintain automobile insurancecoverage and have access to an automobile are required. A driving recordwhich would be eligible for organizational insurance is required. Thisis a full-time exempt, in office position at our Wingra location. Thecore hours and days are Monday through Friday 8:30AM to 5:00PM,requiring occasional evening and weekend hours.
