DescriptionPosition SummaryCollaborates with pharmacy directors, managers, supervisors, clinical pharmacists, and pharmacists who are responsible and accountable for decisions affecting successful accreditation and compliance with enacted federal and state rules and regulations.Essential FunctionsCollaborates with pharmacy directors, managers, supervisors, clinical pharmacists, pharmacists and technicians who are responsible and accountable for decisions affecting successful accreditation and compliance with enacted federal and state rules and regulations.Participates in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to applicable pharmacy standards and compliance with federal and state rules and regulations.Evaluates and consults with individual pharmacy managers about their perspective department compliance with all USP chapters and other applicable laws, regulations, and standards.The position functions with a high degree of autonomy with all activities subject to quality of service measurements.Required For All JobsPerforms other duties as assigned.Complies with all policies and standards.For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
