Job Description:

The Program Analyst will be required to perform the following -
•Ad Hoc program reporting
•Assist in the development of Basis of Estimates (BOE)
•Assist in development of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
•Conducting research, analyzing data, identifying trends, and preparing reports
•Determining program requirements and making recommendations
•Analyzing program policies, procedures, and systems and making recommendations to optimize
•Drafting new or revised program policies and procedures
•Assisting program managers with data supporting the development of spend plans, budgets and schedules feed into Financial Analysts' (FA’s) budgets and forecasts
•Assessing and advising on potential issues related to costs, schedules, and performance
•Preparing and presenting reports, deliverables, and recommendations
•Complete and/or Review Expense Reports
•Initiate Purchase Requisitions
•Prepare/submit special pay requests
•Gather and prepare data in support of invoicing backup
•Setup and administer program STePS/Setris including resolving time discrepancies
Education and Experience Requirements:
● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
● Required Experience: 2+ years of related experience
● Required Technical Skills:
•Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, i.e., the ability to create and work with pivot tables, etc.
•Must be comfortable working with financial information.
● Required Skills and Abilities:
•Analytical skills; ability to solve problems with minimal oversight
•Excellent communication skills
•Self-starter and self-learner
•Attention to detail
● Preferred Skills:
•Superior analytical and problem solving skills
•Proven planning and organizational skills
•Hyperion / Smartview experience, or similar tools.
•Experience with T&M and Firm Fixed Price contracts
•Experience with Oracle and OBIEE, or similar tools.
•Familiarity working with federal government contracts; exposure to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
