Summary This position is located in The Dep Comdt for Mission Support, Assistant Commandant for Acquisition (CG-9), Director of Acquisition Services (CG-92), Off of Acquisition Workforce Management CG-9211 (Remote) Responsibilities This position is responsible for managing Human Capital reporting and database management systems and implementation of a systematic process for strategic workforce and succession planning and management. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Coordinating closely with executive leadership in establishing requirements and managing acquisition database management systems, and report production to ensure cross-cutting workforce management program information on civilian and military workforce is properly linked, integrated, and available. Leading the design and production of reliable planning reports and information so program managers can assess the feasibility and impact of workforce management issues and actions on their program areas. Analyzing and integrating workforce management information developed through the planning and budgeting process to prioritize relevant workforce requirements. Establishing new and maintaining business relationships with sponsors, stakeholders and partners. Acting as program point of contact and liaison with DHS S&T, DoD, Other Government Agencies, partners, trade organizations, industry and academia. Qualifications To qualify for the GS-14 level: Applicant must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal sector. Specialized experience should include: Assigning and reviewing the work of one or several team members in directing the support efforts of the project. Engaging with customers in the various domains to capture new issues, changes in operations, new gaps on all projects. Responding to questions/data calls from the numerous other government stakeholders' entities via the chain of command. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
