Responsibilities You will assist in providing functional administration and technical data for assigned acquisition information systems. You will collect data from assigned systems, prepare reports, and distribute the reports to the appropriate personnel within the department. You will manage hard-copy or electronic folders in file storage by using a filing system, maintaining folders, retrieving/distributing folders, and processing folders for retirement, storage and destruction in accordance with approved procedures. You will serve as an Integrated Technical Item Management and Procurement (ITIMP) Help Desk agent, assisting with answering and resolving problems within the system. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying the principles, concepts, and methods of automated systems and processes to perform or assist in duties involving procurement and contracting; 2) Using Microsoft Office or similar software to create reports and/or spreadsheets; 3) Complying with prescribed regulations for handling, storage, retention, and disposal of contract files or official records; and 4) Effectively communicating orally and in writing, including preparing correspondence, reports, graphs, charts, and presentations.
