About the Department
The Department of Radiology includes more than 80 full-time facultymembers, clinical associates, advanced practice providers, andpostdoctoral researchers. The Department of Radiology provides clinicalservices for the UCM Medical Center in Hyde Park, and Radiology Servicesat multiple locations in the Chicago and Chicagoland area. A traditionof excellence in patient care, basic, clinical, and translationalsciences, combined with the strengths of one of the world\'s topacademic institutions provides the foundation for a robust career in theUniversity of Chicago Medical System. The University of Chicago Medicineis a Level 1 Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center, a Comprehensive StrokeCare Center, and a referral center for numerous neurologic andotolaryngologic disorders.
This at-will position is wholly or partially funded by contractual grantfunding which is renewed under provisions set by the grantor of thecontract. Employment will be contingent upon the continued receipt ofthese grant funds and satisfactory job performance.
Job Summary
The Program Administrator coordinates and manages daily administrativetasks that meet the mission of the Medical Imaging and Data ResourceCenter (MIDRC). Supports communication efforts and design work for theMIDRC website and marketing materials. Provides support to the teamwithin UChicago and other institutions. This position manages academic,research, clinical or administrative programs of the University.
Responsibilities
Plans and conducts quality assurance reviews and recommends changesas appropriate.Interacts with faculty, researchers and staff for committee work orinformation.Supports in financial tracking and reporting work for the Centerprojects.Designs materials as needed for the website, newsletter, etc.Uses moderate/solid understanding and experience to administer thedelivery of services to program participants and/or beneficiaries.Sets and communicates program priorities and performance standardsand assesses operations using these criteria. Plans and conductsquality assurance reviews and recommends changes as appropriate.Analyzes program budgets and recommends or makes budgetaryrecommendationsHas moderate/high levels of interactions with faculty, researchersand staff for committee work or information.Performs other related work as needed.Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in relatedfield.
