Essential functions (job duties):
Advisor Training Academy (ATA)
• Assist in maintaining the ATA website, calendar, directory, listserve, Canvas course, and advisor certification tracking records.
• Assist with tracking and awarding completion certificates for ATA training series’.
• Support ATA’s Thank an Advisor initiative through the monthly collection and dissemination of submissions.
• Assist with the creation of Google Drive invitation and RSVP forms including attendance tracking and RSVP reminders.
• Assist with scheduling and setting up in-person and remote ATA trainings (room scheduling, Tech support, etc.)
• Assist with the marketing of all services and trainings offered through the ATA. Create and send CMS and other listserve emails as well as targeted emails within the advising community
Pre-med and Health Science Center (PMHSC)
• Support PMHSC services and programming by the creation and scheduling of social media posts
• Update and maintain PMHSC website and 365 calendar
• Post PMHSC programming on WSU events calendar
• Support PHMSC communication plan by sending monthly email reminders to staff
• Assist with PMHSC assessment coordination and reporting
• Attend PMHSC monthly meetings (if possible)
Unique duties:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Google Drive, Canva, and MS Office (esp. Publisher and PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of WSU systems such as Stars, CMS, Canvas/LMS
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and stay organized
• Knowledge of or experience with online course creation or software (Canvas)
