Description:

　　Seeking a Professional Surveyor (PS) registered in the state of West Virginia. The PS will be responsible for performing topographic and boundary surveys, as well as right-of-way plans and researching necessary records. Will be tasked with managing projects, interacting with clients, and leading a small team of technicians. Will be working heavily with municipalities, but will also support various sized commercial & other projects.

　　Responsibilities:

　　-Perform topographic surveys, boundary surveys, Right-of-Way plans and research necessary court records

　　-Collect, download and process field survey data and perform survey computations for large and small projects

　　-Oversee the work of survey technicians

　　-Project management and business development

　　Skills:

　　Survey, Land surveying, Topographic surveys, Alta, Construction stakeout, Professional Surveyor, total station, Surveying, Land survey

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　-Associate degree or equivalent education and experience preferred

　　-Professional Licensed Surveyor (P.S.) registration in WV required

　　-5 or more years of survey experience, more qualified applicants are welcome to apply

　　-Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

　　-Good communication skills to make an impact on projects for our clients in the public or private sector

　　-Proficient in Microstation and/or AutoCAD - OpenRoads/Geopak or Civil 3D; GIS

　　Initially this person will be hired on as a Full-Time W-2 employee of Actalent where you would receive an hourly wage, holiday pay, pto, Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision insurance), and 401k. After being an employee of Actalent for 12-months, this person will transition to the Engineering firm as a direct employee or remain as a consultant.
