Currently, four partial days per week depending on work load. Occasional travel is required within Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota, as well as to regional conferences - approximately 3-5 overnight trips per year. Overview The Products Coordinator reviews, evaluates, selects, promotes, and sells library products like RFID tags, barcode scanners, and other security products. The Products Coordinator leads in vendor negotiation and strategic purchasing to save libraries money on necessary library products. The Products Coordinator acts as a liaison between libraries and vendors, consults with libraries regarding access to and delivery of library products, and assists libraries in the use of library products. The Products Coordinator works independently with nominal supervision and reports to the Associate Director. Essential Functions: Product evaluation, sales, and customer service (50% of Time) Select and sell all library products for the Minitex library products program. Negotiate cost with vendors and establish pricing for library product. Market, promote, and support library products. Order Processing and Invoicing (35% of Time) Process orders and manage both vendor and library invoicing in partnership with internal fiscal unit. Package and mail orders filled from stock inventory in partnership with internal delivery unit. Procurement and Inventory Management (10% of Time) Manage stock inventory through strategic purchases and internal reporting. Maintain and physically organize product inventory, including moving materials up to 60 pounds. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree or four years of relevant work experience. Excellent customer service, organizational, and project management skills.
