Description:
Will be working to complete the assembly of specialty/custom truck equipment for various work vehicles, work trucks, and utility trucks(ex. dump trucks and platform units).
Fit and assemble components using hand tools and power tools such as drill, riveter, etc.
Install light duty equipment such as ladder racks, tool boxes and hitches.
Install electrical wiring for dome lights, taillights, brake lights, backup camera, emergency lighting and other equipment according to specified procedures.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems and wiring electrical systems.
Will be working with and using a variety of tools and equipment such as band saw, sander and hand drills.
Needing candidates with hydraulic experience/knowledge and light fabrication/welding experience (Stick/MIG welding ideally).
Will be working in a large production warehouse that is not climate-controlled (similar to an auto-body shop or production line at an auto manufacturer.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Basic knowledge and ability of light welding/fabrication, highly prefer someone who has some experience in metal fabrication and/or stick welding.
Previous experience in either a mechanical assembly role within a metal shop or experience as a mechanic within the auto body/automotive industry or heavy equipment/construction industry.
Ability to troubleshoot and install electrical systems is preferred but not required.
Basic electrical wiring skills a plus but not required.
Knowledge to install basic electric systems.
Basic carpentry skills.
Experience working with hydraulic systems.
Pay Rate: $24.00-$28.00/hr
