About Production Technical Operator

  PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is seeking candidates for a Production Technical Operators in Tucson, Arizona.

  Join our dynamic manufacturing and supply chain team in Tucson, AZ! We are seeking skilled Production Operators to contribute to our success. Please note that this is an on-site position, and overtime opportunities are available.

  Responsibilities:

  Execute manual assembly, operate automated assembly equipment, perform hand soldering, operate automated test equipment, and inspect and repair products.

  Conduct machine and line setups, feeder repairs, and first-line preventative maintenance.

  Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:

  Possess site operations-defined certifications.

  In-depth understanding of board assembly processes and product process flow.

  Proficient knowledge of product quality, soldering specifications, and SMT processing systems.

  Ability to set up, operate, calibrate, and maintain assembly and hand soldering equipment and tools.

  Recognize and address problems in the assembly process or with assembly components.

  Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

  Collaborate with team members and lead the team to achieve high-quality production within tight deadlines.

  Familiarity with in-circuit and functional test fixturing.

  Proficient in computer applications such as Word, Lotus Notes, Excel, and Documentation control systems.

  Advanced knowledge of manufacturing systems.

  Physical Demands:

  Perform duties in a manufacturing environment with occasional to frequent exposure to elements like noise, dust, chemicals, operating machinery, and temperature extremes.

  Engage in periodic light physical effort, including prolonged repetitive motions, requiring manual dexterity and precise hand/eye coordination.

  Sit or stand in confined workspaces, use tools and equipment, and move and handle materials.

  Extended periods of sustained visual concentration on detailed documentation and product assemblies, adhering to local Health and Safety guidelines.

  Experience:

  Four to five years of relevant experience.Education:

  High school diploma and additional post-high school courses, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with a commitment towards further education.Pay Details: $19.00 to $22.00 per hour
