　　Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Ability to carry out repetitive motions of the arms, wrists, and handsto perform repetitive tasks that may include the general use of a knife orother tools to trim or remove fat or portion muscle and tissues of sub-primalcuts of beef, pork or chicken to specifications or preset weights.- Cuts or trims proteins to specifications (weight, thickness,length, height, cut style, shape) using a knife or equipment in amanner such that primary product yields are maximized.- Ability to perform and verify the quality and accuracy of products,packaging, while weighing, labeling, bagging, packing, and boxingfinished products.- Generally requires standing the duration of the shift, the use ofstairs, and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (i.e. safetyequipment) such as bump caps, hair/beard nets, earplugs, cottonand/or stainless steel mesh gloves, arm guards, protective aprons,etc. Must be able to repetitively lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds whileexposed to wet and/or humid conditions with slippery surfaces at variedheights; moving mechanical parts; fast paced cold/cool environment.- Perform equipment operations that may include placing product intoslicers, injectors, or grinders. Filling hoppers to correct amounts andmonitoring materials. Checks machines on regular intervals.- Supports and complies with all policies and procedures that ensure foodsafety, including cleanliness and housekeeping in all work areas. Thisincludes responsibility for Safe Quality Food (SQF) for BRC compliance,HACCP, CCP tasks, sanitation, and all support program implementation.- Remains engaged and active in the avoidance and observation of unsafe actsor conditions; takes immediate corrective action where necessary. Must becommitted to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.- Work as a team member performing one or more of the following tasks.Assembling boxes manually, use both hands to place product into packagingtrays, remove product from conveyor (product weight ranges from 3.0 oz. to3 pounds) and place inside a box, operate taping machine to seal assembledbox, or remove the filled boxes at the end of the conveyor and place on apallet.

　　Education/Experience:- Preferably a high school diploma or equivalent, and one (1) years'experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in a food-processingenvironment.- Good reading, writing, basic math, communication, and organizational skills.- Must be able to stand a minimum of eight hours and continuously lift,push, or pull up to 50 lbs. May help lift up to 80 lbs. with assistance.- Must be able to understand basic instructions in English from supervision.

This position also participates in vacationand sick leave pay programs. The pay range for this position is $18.50 to$19.67 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
