Our strategy includes building teams across our global network to pioneer and shape the future of PCI.This position is responsible for providing leadership, direction, organization, alignment, and monitoring and cGMP compliance of the roles, activities, and proceedings of all assigned Operations personnel to ensure the successful, cost effective, timely and safe processing of customer orders.This is a 2nd Shift position, 4pm to 12 Midnight, Monday to Friday.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Ensures assigned operations comply with all applicable local, corporate, and regulatory safety guidelines.Manages safety processes for their area of responsibility including but not limited to safety awareness and training, injury prevention and management, and personnel safety and accountability.Ensures compliance with all applicable corporate and regulatory SOP and cGMP guidelines for their of responsibilityManage processes ensuring required levels of customer delivery and quality performance.Ensures all personnel in their areas of responsibility receive necessary and appropriate and ongoing training for their job function.Hire and develop direct reports through ongoing coaching and performance management.Ensures management and development of all line leads and auditors in their area of responsibility to include necessary hiring, discipline, rewards, and recognition.Responsible for goal setting for their areas of responsibility.Effectively manages union relations including hiring, discipline, rewards and recognition, and grievance handling.Initiate and lead improvement projects to reduce cycle time, increase throughput and minimize changeover losses to increase internal capacity.Establish and utilize metrics to drive improvement activity and ensure that decisions are based on facts and measurement trends.Align production, mechanical, materials, front office, and quality functions to establish reliable processes that improve safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance.Provide continuous coaching to employees to ensure accountability for safety, quality, throughput, and cost performance.Coordinate and deliver recognition programs, training, oversee employee relations matters such as progressive discipline and hiring/onboarding processes.Ensures daily production data - safety, quality, throughput, changeover, and downtime data are collected and accurate.This position may require overtime and/or weekend work.Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules.Attendance to work is an essential function of this positionPerforms other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor
Qualifications:Required:Associate's Degree in a related field and/or 1-3 years related experience and/or training.Basic Mathematical SkillsBasic Computer Skills: Ability to perform basic computer tasks and has the ability to operate common computer programs.Minimum Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak in a way that allows one to participate effectively in various conversations. Ability to read various types of standard items addressed to general readers.Intermediate Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions that may be furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
