We offercompetitive compensation and benefits packages for our Team Members.Production Supervisor This position is responsible for supervising dailyoperations of the production floor; ensuring the shift meets theestablished safety, quality, and production goals in compliance with allapplicable legal and food safety requirements. Essential FunctionsManages and directs activities of assigned shift, ensuring productadheres to Niagara\'s standard of safety, quality, and throughput.Maintains effective working relationships with team members through opencommunication, visibility, and involvement to promote a positive workingenvironment that maximizes safety, employee engagement, productivity,and throughput. Analyzes the production schedule prior to shift startand adjusts team member assignments to meet production targets. Verifiesdiscrete jobs are correct in Oracle (including quality and bill ofmaterial list), Warehouse Management System, and/or Line ManagementSystem. Responsible for team member coaching and development, employmentdecisions, and resolving issues through conflict resolution. Hires,trains, coaches and reviews performance of team members. Partners withHuman Resources and Production Manager for recruitment, correctiveactions, and terminations. Inspects raw materials prior to changeoversto ensure correct inventories for production runs. Performs first passquality checks after changeovers to prevent non-conforming product.Collaborates with the Maintenance Department to resolve downtimeoccurrences on the production lines. Completes shift reports forproduction numbers, downtime, attendance, overtime and quality checksfor submission to the Production Manager. Conducts walkthroughsthroughout the shift to ensure safety, quality, and housekeepingcompliance by team members. Interfaces with multiple departments withinthe organization to ensure customer deadlines are met. Participates ininterviews with hiring managers. Collaborates with plant leadership andshift team members to champion a world-class safety culture.
