Position Summary: Provides leadership and direction for line leaders and cell of workers in a value stream. Assists value stream management in meeting safety, quality, and productivity goals. Supervises the flow of product through the department while enforcing Jeffcos standards and operational priorities.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Leads line leaders and frontline workers in a value stream, to ensure the team meets or exceeds all standards related to safety, quality, productivity, 5S, maintenance and company values.Responsible for carrying out daily schedule set forth by value stream management, assigning staff as needed to meet daily production goals, ensuring on time production starts/Prepares and submits end of shift reports.Communicates key direction and feedback from Supervisors and Managers to leads and frontline workers. Leads Tier 1 meetings with line leaders and employees in their area of responsibility.Has a comprehensive knowledge of, and is trained to perform, all jobs in the department.Facilitates and delivers line lead and employee training on jobs within the department.Mentors and coaches line leaders on supervisory skills and in handling workplace situations.Quickly escalates issues and provides status updates to department management.Driver of continuous improvement with the frontline employees, working with team to find 1% improvement; inspires team to deliver on results.Experience and Skills Required:

　　5+ years Supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.Strong communication skills and attention to detail.-Proficient in English; bilingual Spanish/English a plus, but not required.

　　Exceptional attendance and reliability, works overtime when required.Ability to learn new processes quickly, think on their feet and adapt.Ability to remain in a stationary position, as well as move around, for long periods of time.Ability to move and transport up to 50 lbs repeatedly during shift.Basic mathematics and reading skills.Education:[High School Diploma or GED required, Associates degree preferred]{calibri",sans-serif"=""}
