  SummaryLeads activities of direct production workers in hot zone assembly and fabrication, as well as indirect functions in the stockroom. The Production Supervisor will be responsible to achieve production schedule completion dates, quality expectations, production labor standards and overall customer requirements in a safe and consistent manner.Essential Duties and Responsibilitieso    Directly supervises all employees in production and stockroom.o    Coordinates daily activities for direct reports in accordance with schedule requirements.o    Ensures thorough and timely communication to and from area team leads, other supervisors and managers.o    Completes daily shift report.o    Tracks daily progress of all WIP jobs and takes necessary course corrections to maintain on-time completion.o    Conducts interviews and is fully involved in employee hiring process.o    Trains and motivates workers to achieve goals.o    Provides prompt employee performance feedback to direct reports.o    Reviews and approves employee timecards and timesheets, ensuring correct information is submitted to payroll in a timely manner.o    Completes yearly performance reviews for all direct reports.o    Performs direct manufacturing activities as needed.o    Interprets company policies to workers and enforces consistent regulations in the areas of but not limited to: ISO, safety, and other associated work rules.o    Works with all interrelated departments to resolve design, material, or other problems.o    Proactively recommends production and process improvements.o    Other duties as assigned/needed.•    Requirements:Knowledge, Skills, and Abilitieso    Possess strong leadership skills with a focus on communicating effectively, motivating, delegating, and managing conflict within a team successfully.o    Ability to professionally communicate verbally and in writing. Possess strong active listening skills.o    Knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel.o    Knowledge of ERP software helpful.o    Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment and successfully juggle competing priorities.o    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, decimals, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, angles, and volume. Knowledge of basic concepts of geometry.o    Ability to successfully train, receive certification and operate a forklift and overhead crane.o    Possess strong integrity and ethical standards.Education and Experienceo    High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.o    Minimum 3 years general manufacturing experience.o    Must have at least 2 years in a leadership role.Physical/Visual/Mental/ Environmental Factors The demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
