Responsibilities:
Recognize and organize production demand from a variety of inputs; production orders, customer and commercial forecasts, and communications into a coherent effective production schedule that meets customer requirements in an efficient manner.
Manage material inventory and allocations to ensure minimal on hand inventory as well as no material outages that affect production requirements.
Schedule Preventive maintenance for all folding machines and presses.
Develop a long range 3-12 month forecast of production requirements based on customer forecasts and historical demand to enable the Senior Management to identify resource requirements.
Utilize Radius and the production scheduling assistant to manage and communicate a production plan.
Communicate production schedules effectively.
Communicate disruptions to the production schedule (unplanned downtime, unplanned launches) and the anticipated production and customer impact within 12 hours of event.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or business-related field preferred.
5 years of experience in manufacturing required.
Experience with Lean/Six Sigma a plus.
Experience in MS Word, Excel, and Access required.
Familiarity with pharmaceutical printing or packaging industry.
Able to train and guide others in a productive manner.
Must be flexible with work schedules and able to work overtime as needed.
Compensations:
15 days of annual's vacations
12 sick days per year
