This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.Responsibilities:Establish, implement, maintain, and enforce quality system processes that support products in development and production environmentsMeasure, analyze, and improve quality system performance consistent with organization quality goalsReview and approve manufacturing build documents including work orders and nonconformance records.Perform periodic audits of the application of our quality system in accordance with AS9100Participate in engineering design reviews and make recommendations to improve the quality and manufacturability of new designsRecommend and improve initiatives and/or changes that will improve product and system qualityProvide quality assurance domain expertise to inspection, manufacturing and test for the Additive Manufacturing and Machine Shop teamCollaborate with internal and external customers on quality related concerns; develop and present training materials to build quality awarenessQualifications:Minimum of a B.S. in engineering/science or American Society of Quality, Certified Quality Engineer certification5+ years' industry experience in an engineering field with at least 2 years in a quality engineer roleQuality experience in production environment.
