Job Responsiilities and Qualifications:
Under direct supervision, the Production Planner is responsible for production order management and daily execution on the shop floor.
The Production Planner will plan and schedule routine orders for their assigned product lines and to resolve related problems affecting delivery for short-term planning horizons.
Performs release of production orders within acceptable guidelines, uses dispatch report to coordinate schedule execution, and performs inventory management functions to optimize material flow.
The Production Planner will have a basic understanding and knowledge of: Forecasting, FP, MRP, Excel, Theory of Constraints, Master Data, Engineering Change Management, and Inventory Turns.
Ability to work with cross departmental teams is required.
As this is a MFG driven environment, this job is on-site.
SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience is preferred.
Excel experience is preferred.
Qualifications:
Requires a minimum of two years working in manufacturing, procurement, or customer service.
Required High School diploma or equivalent
