What You'll Do:
The Production Operator at theWrap Deskis responsible for the operation, cleaning, and light maintenance of the equipment that finishes the product for commercial distribution. This includes a variety of activities such as: wrapping pallets, writing up the pallet tag (unique identifier), RF scanning, write up the production and trailer tallies and inspecting product to ensure adherence to specifications. This position reports to the Production Supervisor and interacts with team members.
Working Second Shift (from 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm, Monday-Friday), the ability to pay high attention to detail and accuracy is critical as you perform:
Data-entry of SKU, lot code, and expiration date information onto appropriate forms, documentation, and RF system.
Verify materials and codes to ensure adherence to specifications and record necessary information on appropriate forms.
Cleanand maintainequipment in accordance with operation manuals and plant SOPs.
Operatethe automatic shrink wrapper, RF scanner, and label printer and other equipment.
Supportplant production and quality assigned by plant leadership.
Supportthe SQF 2000 System.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
High School graduate or equivalent required.
Basic math skills, ability to calculate percentages.
1 yr. Manufacturing experience, preferably in a chemical or food processing facility.
Prior lift truck operation and safety certification.
Use of MS products required, SAP software preferred.
Attend work as scheduled and availability to work overtime if needed.
