Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

As a Production Associate, you will perform a variety of tasks in an environment where your safety is our top priority. An experienced training team will teach you how to safely use hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and nail guns. This physical role involves moving around throughout the day using equipment to manufacture high-quality windows and doors, ensuring each product meets our premium standards.

Responsibilities

Assemble products using tools and automated equipment, including drilling holes, measuring parts, cutting parts, or using a saw.

Communicate clearly in English both orally and in writing to carry out essential job functions and collaborate with your team.

Read visual and written instructions on a computer screen to retrieve parts and deliver them to production areas.

Cross-train in multiple departments to add variety to your workday.

Essential Skills

Experience with production and assembly.

Proficiency in using hand tools and general production equipment.

Basic machine operation skills.

Ability to operate a forklift.

Additional Skills Qualifications

Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.

Strong communication skills in English.

Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed.

Work Environment

Our facilities are air-conditioned to support your wellness. You will work indoors in a climate-controlled environment. Shift options include 1st shift (7 AM - 3 PM), 2nd shift (3 PM - 11 PM), and 3rd shift (11 PM - 7 AM). Work is scheduled Monday through Friday, with every other Saturday required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roanoke, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
