  How will you be set up for success? Your first 90 days

  Your first month is about learning all things Sage – our customers, our products, our market, our values. You’ll meet stakeholders, and cross-functional teams, and start building relationships. In addition to our Product Marketing Academy, you'll have various resources to tap into and the support of your leader, the Director, of Product Marketing - HR & Payroll, who you will shadow, and a dedicated colleague to help you onboard. At 60 days, your focus will be reviewing current proposition plans and asking insightful questions. You'll be asked to share your fresh perspective and constructive feedback to optimize. Within 90 days, you'll have gained enough information to start building out a plan to improve and implement your ideas so you can finally start executing. When you're ready, your leader will step back, empower, and support you to fully take the reins.

  Location: Hybrid; 2 days per week of in-office collaboration from our Newcastle office

  Qualifications: Is this you?

  • Proven experience in product marketing, particularly in defining and building compelling product propositions and successfully launching them to market.

  • Solid understanding of marketing funnels optimized for a digital-first strategy

  • Strong grasp of commercial strategies, with a track record of executing against commercial objectives. Direct responsibility for meeting or exceeding Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) targets.

  • Ability to influence at all levels and gain buy-in.

  • You over-index on communication, keeping all stakeholders in the loop and initiatives aligned.

  • You are known for your resilience, positivity, and motivation to be better than the competition.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and articulate clear positioning, go-to-market messaging, and strategies for Sage HR and Sage Business Cloud Payroll products in the UK market.

  • Analyse and understand the competitive landscape in the region, and strategically position Sage’s offerings in response.

  • Collaborate with the Product team to design solutions addressing key customer challenges.

  • Facilitate the creation of effective sales training materials to enhance understanding and communication of our product features and positioning.

  • Work closely across marketing teams to execute innovative marketing campaigns.

  • Localise and adapt central marketing materials to ensure consistency and relevance in the UK market, including value propositions and sales enablement tools.

  • Craft and present compelling presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Actively contribute to Sage’s content strategy and thought leadership initiatives.
