Job Description

　　Work as part of a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, test, quality, and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution.

　　Critical aspects of this role are:

　　The ability to do thorough research

　　Be proficient with productivity tools such as Excel, Confluence, and technology in general

　　Have an excellent eye for detail

　　Be extremely quality-focused

　　Be able to work within hard time constraints (e.g. our patching cadence)

　　Responsibilities

　　Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.

　　Main responsibilities:

　　Monitor changes to tax rates, minimum wages, geospatial data files, and other data that drive the calculation of US payroll. This requires extensive internet research, as well as monitoring of feeds from 3 rd party services/publications we subscribe to. It may require the occasional call or email to US authorities to confirm these changes;

　　Review quality and integrity of 3 rd party (Melissa) geographic data monthly;

　　The role could expand in the future to cover more areas such as monitoring changes to tax forms, and more in-depth coverage of tax changes (e.g. reciprocity rules, rounding rules, tax credits, etc.), as well as related documentation updates. We can offer suitable candidates a proper career path;

　　Enter updates to this data into an internal database (“SOR”) that we have developed for this purpose. This is where the candidate’s focus on quality and detail is critical as this data will be the basis for the seed data we’ll ship with the US payroll product;

　　Work with the broader US localization team to keep everyone abreast of changes monitored and entered in SOR or elsewhere.
