About Product Manager, Ads

  We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Advertising platform team. This is a team within our Ad monetization group that builds and maintains Ad Technology that sells ads in our games. Our Ad Tech SDK enables games to focus on what they do best – build excellent quality games... while we handle how the Ads are sold & displayed.

  Our product has “Zynga-scale”, and facilitates 950M ad requests every day for 30+ Games... and we’re growing every day! You’ll be responsible for developing key ad technology features and helping us distribute these features to games within our portfolio.

  You’ll work closely with engineers, designers, business development and other PMs across Zynga to execute on new features and experiments, while keeping a pulse on our business with Live Ops (analyzing ad delivery metrics in real time).

  

Main Responsibilities:

  Maintain a matrix of Ad Network SDKs on iOS + Android Support new Platform releases and triage bugs that QA flags Help develop Custom Ad Formats for Mobile Games and drive the end-to-end integration Design & run experiments that help us drive more Rewarded Video engagement Monitor ad performance and business metrics, lead investigations of issues, and triage bugs Research & discover new opportunities within our games to surface Ads, and share best practices with the Zynga organization Get under the hood on both our internal and external advertising platforms (Chartboost mediation sdk) to build new capabilities that improve our workflow, or solve player pain points (crashes, forced clicks, locked ad experiences) Be comfortable documenting and publishing artifacts for distributions and learnings. Apply product management principles for shipping the features seamlessly for ad tech customers.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

2+ years’ experience working in product management in Mobile Games, AdTechnology (DSP/SSP) or an App related Business Understanding of the product lifecycle for Mobile Apps/Games Ability to operate in an entrepreneurial environment, to thrive at a fast pace and find creative ways to get things done Extremely organized and an excellent communicator An understanding of advertising technologies a plus (but not required) including SSPs/DSPs, Ad Mediation, Rewarded Video, and Ad Targeting BS, quantitative or technical degree a plus (math, economics, engineering, finance). MBA a plus. This is an exciting time to join our team as we innovate with new Ad formats and explore how Ads render beyond Mobile platforms (console, PC).
