　　Prominent building products manufacturer in search of a Product & Development Engineer to focus on commercial windows, doors, curtain walls, etc. This is a hybrid/remote opening with the facility an hour south of Kansas City. Because this role is highly independent, prioritization and follow-through are critical as are updates to management around key projects.

　　responsibilities:

　　Responsible for developing building products. This includes the extrusion/pultrusion design, hardware, mechanisms, waterproofing, and building attachment.

　　Drafting and sketching of façade, window, and door details, hardware, integration details, and writing of technical documentation.

　　Analyze simulation of designed products (e.g., loadings, thermal analysis, condensation risk, energy loss/gain, etc.) with specialized software.

　　Be the subject matter expert for relevant building codes, energy codes, industry standards, façade, window, and door testing standards and mockups.

　　Work on establishing, developing, and implementing best in class products of highest quality and longevity.

　　Work with internal and external teams on the development of components, building integration, and the look and feel of the products.
