Product Development Engineer (Tires) - Akron/Canton, OH - JOB 24-00021Salary: $100K - $125K Permanent Position with BenefitsJob Purpose: To manage and engineer the product development of passenger car radial (PCR) / light truck radial (LTR) tires for vehicle original equipment (OE) applications.Responsibilities:• Collaborate with various departments to ensure the development of efficient tires in a timely manner• Perform mold design using company guidelines and simulation tools• Engineer and analyze design features, manufacturing, and characteristics• Oversee required testing and data analysis• Conduct design reviews and reports• Oversee project budget management• Provide analysis and support for technical issues• Regularly communicate with written reports and presentations• Travel domestically and internationally as requiredQualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or related engineering field• Preferred greater than 5 years of experience in OE tire development.• Relevant full-time experience in tire or automotive industry• Experience with Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems and Microsoft 365 or similar office document tools• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in local and international teamsNote: Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.Due to the large amount of resumes we expect to receive only the most qualified candidates will be contacted.
