Position Title: Computer Literature/Keyboarding Salary Range: Teacher Salary Contract Length: Teacher Contract Immediate Supervisor: Principal Basic Function: : A keyboarding/computers/careers teacher is a highly qualified and state certified teacher responsible for delivering specific course content in a differentiated learning environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: A qualified teaching candidate will provide instruction, support, and guidance, manage the learning process, and focus on students’ individual needs. The teacher will work actively with students and parents to advance each child’s learning. Demonstrate skills in; differentiating instruction, using a wide range, problem based learning, real world applications, and higher level questioning. Structure the classroom environment to maintain student interest and engagement. Maintain professional responsibility for planning, implementing, and evaluating learning. Qualifications: Business Licensed and Highly Qualified in area applying for. Considerations by Administration: Actively engage parents in the education of their children. Maintain regular, documented communication between home and school. Utilize technology to enhance the learning environment and differentiate instruction. Applicants must not have had a recommendation for Probation Assistance on their most recent evaluation. Considerations as determined by the administrator. Physical Demands: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office; dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and other technologies and office equipment, sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time; kneeling; bending at the waist; lifting; pushing; pulling and carrying equipment, supplies and materials weighing up to 25 pounds; repetitive hand movement and fine coordination to use a computer keyboard; emotional stability to work effectively under pressure and to keep all aspects of the job under control; hearing and speaking to exchange information in person or on the telephone; seeing to read; prepare and assure the accuracy of documents.
