Job Summary
The Corporate Intern will develop a solid understanding of the department theyare in as well as the overall business. The internship aims to provide ourinterns with challenging, real-world projects specific to their career path.Works within the department on day to day projects; projects will includebut not be limited to activities related to process improvement, projectmanagement, data support, reporting, documentation, and other assignedresponsibilities.
Responsibilities
Essential FunctionsWorks within the department on day to day projects; which include but arenot limited to activities related to process improvement, projectmanagement, data support, reporting, documentation, and other assignedresponsibilities.Builds relationships through meetings, events and one-on-ones with variousemployee owners and leaders.Focuses on real-world projects within the department.Collaborates with various departments throughout the company.Department ResponsibilitiesAnalyzes software inventory across servers, laptops, desktop, and othernetwork equipment as necessary.Researches risks of vulnerable software and recommends updates or removal ofsoftware to lower overall risk to company.Works with various IT Teams to communicate software research and findings.Helps automate software updates when applicable.Works directly with helpdesk and IT Services teams resolving minor end-usersecurity incidents using our IT incident ticketing platform.Helps support our internal information security training and phishingsimulation programs.Nonessential FunctionsPerforms other duties as assigned by supervisor or designate.
Qualifications
Current student or new graduate (within last year) in a 2 or 4-year degreeprogram.Strong knowledge of business office procedures, office equipmentoperation, data entry/keyboarding skills and communication systems helpful.Prefer strong knowledge of PC for Windows and Microsoft Office (Excel,Word, Access, and PowerPoint).
