  The Team:

  The Sustainability and Diversity Team is the heart of procurement. We are guided by doing what's right and implementing and executing policies and guidelines to ensure a responsible supply chain. As a team, we provide the integration of environmental, governance, and social factors of corporate responsibility into procurement processes and decision-making. Our three focus areas are Sustainability, Supplier Diversity, and Human Rights.

  Responsibilities and Impact:

  Assist with implementing the sustainability program and initiatives.

  Help build the methodology for questioning potential suppliers about ESG during the RFP process.

  Develop a Sustainability KPI tracker to organize and store program metrics for internal and external reporting needs.

  Research industry best practices to identify emerging trends in responsible procurement.

  Collaborate with internal teams to integrate sustainability framework into business functions.

  Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

  S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $25 to $30. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

  This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.

  Basic Required Qualifications:

  Fully matriculated students with a Sophomore or Junior standing

  All Majors welcome: Business Administration, Liberal Arts, Psychology, Public Administration, Public Policy, Sociology, and Supply Chain majors preferred.

  Curious and excited to learn.

  Effective communicator and listener. 

  Problem-solving, time management, and attention to detail.

  The ability and the desire to learn to conduct data analysis and research.

  Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  Strong knowledge or interest in responsible procurement,sustainability, and corporate social responsibility are recommended.

  Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
