  Who we are looking for

  We’re looking for a Procurement Platform Development Manager who will join the Global Procurement team. We support the creation of an end-to-end digital Procurement Ecosystem and drive the development and implementation of procurement platforms and business products for Nike Inc. We ensure alignment with Technology, Legal, and Risk teams to deliver a cross-functional and connected procurement ecosystem for Nike Inc. We develop and maintain end-to-end capabilities, processes, and procedures for developed platforms and products.

  What you will work on

  If this is you, you’ll be working as part of our Global Procurement Enablement & Operations team reporting to the Procurement Platforms Development & PMO Director.

  Collaborate with Procurement leaders and teams to identify platform and product capabilities needed to achieve category strategy and sourcing objectives.

  Work cross-functional teams across Procurement, Legal, Risk, Technology, and across Geographies to develop and build a connected Procurement Ecosystem. Additionally, you will support the development of the Procurement Ecosystem platform strategy by creating platform & product roadmaps, cases, use cases, and requirements. Some other areas of key focus:

  Translate platform & product strategy and capabilities into detailed business requirements to drive technical design and development

  Collaborate closely with our Nike Technology product and engineering teams in the design, development, testing, and release of new platforms & products

  Partner with our operations teams to design and establish business processes to support, maintain, and evolve the Procurement Ecosystem

  Introduce new platforms & products into the ecosystem by collaborating with project management, transition management, and communications teams

  Develop strong working relationships with partner functions including Technology, Legal, and Risk, and across our Geographies

  Maintain professional and technical knowledge by conducting market and customer research, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies and continuing education

  Who you will work with

  Business partner engagement will be critical to this role, and you will be working closely with procurement category teams as well as key partners in Technology and Legal across functions and geographies

  What you bring

  Minimum 5+ years of experience documenting requirements, including ability to write clear and effective user stories and acceptance criteria using Agile or other incremental development methodologies

  Minimum 3+ years of experience in applying continuous improvement methodologies, i.e., Lean or Six Sigma

  Effective written and verbal communication skills (including ability to quickly tailor information to different audiences based on their needs), and an understanding of organizational change management principles

  Strong presentation and influencing skills and the ability to interact with all levels

  Strong project management skills, including development of work breakdown structures, milestones, deliverables, and critical path dependencies

  Experience in Finance or Procurement preferred

  Experience with Procurement tools such as Coupa or Ariba is a plus
