The Job

　　Lead the execution of procurement strategy by the purchased components/commodities team.

　　Act as the key single point of contact with Suzhou based business partner leadership.

　　Ensure the Suzhou team adopts and executes the goals and objectives as managed by the Regional Head of Procurement Operations, APAC

　　Work with a global and diverse team in China, SEA, India, Mexico, and US on project execution and strategy alignment

　　Drive world class cost and margin enhancement (TCO Improvement) to deliver YOY productivity.

　　Lead and manage supplier relationships as the local representative for global affiliates.

　　Build category cost models/clean sheets, and monitoring raw material, FX, and market trends.

　　The Person

　　Minimum 10 years of experience in global strategic sourcing or procurement including supplier selection

　　Bachelor’s degree in relevant area required, mechanical or manufacturing engineering preferred.

　　Knowledge of manufacturing processes, costs, and materials and experience managing mechanical component categories with lean manufacturing or six sigma methodologies

　　Prior experience managing a team of sourcing professionals.

　　Ability to work independently to deliver results and influence stakeholders internally and externally.

　　Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

　　Ability to take accountability for driving team results, overcoming challenges, and working in a highly matrixed environment.

　　High degree of creativity, flexibility and resourcefulness

　　Personal drive, high energy, strong teaming skills, collaborative style and commitment to continuous professional growth
