JOB REQUIREMENTS: Tracking Code 2017822 Job Description What You WillDo: In this role, you will create and implement the strategic andtactical directives for the Astronautics supply chain organization,provide leadership from a purchasing perspective, and influence internaland external partners to consider innovative strategies that align withcompany goals and objectives. This position is further responsible fordelivering savings targets, supporting other cost reduction initiatives,and assisting the Director of Operations with process development andexecution throughout the Operations organization. This position islocated at our Headquarters in Oak Creek, WI. You will report directlyto the Director of Operations. How You Will Do It: Identify and assistwith resolving material issues, constraints, and services that impact amanufacturing environment. Partner with the Materiel team and operationsto achieve goals and KPIs. Develop and implement strategic sourcinginitiatives involving new supplier onboarding, monitoring, andexecution. Develop and institute processes and procedures within aprofessional procurement organization. Manage and present make-buyalternatives and develop long-term sourcing strategies. Foster anddevelop cross-functional leadership relationships with functional teamsin engineering, operations, program management, finance, and quality,among other teams. Manage and monitor team workload through delegationand strategic management. Ensure communication flow to functional teamsand provide visibility to material arrival. Maintain awareness ofchanging commodity-related business trends in the marketplace andprepare executive-level reports on the possible short and long-termimpact. Identify alternative materials and action plans/timelines forfull qualification. Coordinate new parts and process implementationqualification with internal business organization and suppliertechnical/quality teams. Resolve price, quality, and all other supplierdisputes, including corrective actions for resolution and/orimprovement. Support trade compliance, regulatory, logistics, and othersas needed and as they relate to assigned suppliers. Lead and driveprocurement and planning practices meeting inventory/working capitalgoals. Report risks and opportunities on key materials to business unitmanagement. Negotiate with suppliers to fully achieve cost objectives,including negotiating terms and conditions on supply agreements.
