  Shift: B Shift (6 p.m. - 6 a.m. Rotating Nights)

  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  Monitor team members to ensure compliance to manufacturing documents. Assists with changes to Standard Work Instructions.

  Directs daily work for the work team.

  Direct training for associates in their assigned area(s).

  Responsible for all process documentation accuracy, completion, and handoff.

  Report attendance, scheduling, and direct the resource allocation.

  The Process Technician-Lead will interact with other Production Leads and associates on the respective/adjoining shifts to share best practices, create standardization, and ensure a smooth transition between shifts. Production Leads are required to work a schedule that allows for this to occur seamlessly.

  Respond when an issue is identified, lead the root cause and corrective action investigation as needed, and escalate as required.

  Coordinate and implement the upgrading and standardization of assigned equipment.

  Coordinate repair and preventative maintenance activities with production.

  Instruct Cutting Associates concerning proper procedures and/or methodologies.

  Assure that all machines are configured according to specifications.

  Enable the development and training of associates by responding to requests and department needs.

  Proactively work to anticipate problems before they impact production.

  Provide input to performance appraisals and performance improvement/corrective action plans.

  Champion process improvements, and ensure that changes associated with Continuous Improvement (CI) activities are implemented consistently in their area.

  Will learn to operate and qualify on cutting machine operation and in-process checks to ensure operational impacts are minimal for absences and break coverages if necessary

  Train associates if necessary

  Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.

  Deliverables:

  Ensure manufactured products meet the established quality requirements.

  Meet or exceed operational objectives (i.e. safety, quality, production, cost, etc.).

  Minimum Experience:

  Two years’ experience in an automated manufacturing environment (Preferably medical device manufacturing).

  Cutting Operator experience preferred.

  Basic knowledge of process pre-control.

  Capable of methodically analyzing and troubleshooting equipment problems.

  Must be familiar with specifications as outlined in Quality Control Specifications, blueprints and GMP manuals, which pertain to this operation.

  Minimum Physical Requirements or Demands:

  The position may require lifting up to 35 pounds and sit or stand for periods of time up to four hours in duration.Minimum Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities:
