A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PLANNING MANAGER / MANUFACTURING PRODUCTION MANAGER
As a Planning Manager, you are responsible for ensuring that our aerospace company operates in a cost-effective manner and that your employees meet the performance standards for productivity and quality. You lead the planning group, which includes developing and implementing objectives as well as performance measures to ensure the department operates smoothly. To help with manufacturing production, you plan jobs and address any deviations in operations through the use of statistical techniques.
Your responsibilities also include reviewing and approving harness assembly drawings (HADs) and ensuring we maintain compliance with AS9100 requirements. In addition, you review and approve work travelers and help to solve any other production-related problems that arise during the entire process. It brings you great satisfaction knowing that your leadership skills and lean manufacturing knowledge help you contribute to our company in such a big way!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PLANNING MANAGER / MANUFACTURING PRODUCTION MANAGER
Bachelo 's degreeOR4+ years of aerospace-related experience2+ years of management experienceTraining on Six Sigma and lean manufacturingDo you have excellent verbal and written communication skills? WORK SCHEDULE
