Here’s the Gist:
Wolfspeed is looking for a resourceful, hands-on, problem solving Process Sustaining Engineer with the capacity to quickly grasp and resolve a wide range of technical challenges. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast paced, deadline-oriented atmosphere and be capable and willing to work in a team of scientists, engineers and technicians. The primary responsibility of this role is to be a process and reactor owner for auxiliary processes supporting the epitaxy department.
*This position is expected to work M-F day shift
The Day-to-Day:
24x7 reactor & process ownershipSet-up, scheduling, and evaluation of production runsData driven process decision making based on timely and thorough data analysisProcess improvement through designed experimentationYield improvement through identification and elimination of yield limitersCreating technical drawings and designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software or similar toolsMentoring, coaching, and training of process technicians
This Job is Right for You if You Have:
Minimum Requirements
BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or Chemical EngineeringWillingness to work supporting 24x7 manufacturing where off-hours on-call support may be requiredMust be a US Citizen or Green Card holderMust have a “Whatever it takes” attitude
Preferred Skills
Epitaxy, thin film, and/or CVD experienceJMP software experienceExperience with VB.NET programming and SQLExperience with SolidWorks/CAD
