Provide Process Safety Information (PSI) Program Management and technical safety support to both operations and engineering team in the Rockies Business Unit (RBU). Position will be part of the Technical Safety Engineering team supporting RBU in strengthening the Process Safety / Technical Safety culture by improving workforce fluency and understanding. Provides PSI to operations and engineering teams with emphasis on program development and continuous improvement. Performs management of change quality reviews and verifies risk screening consistency. Supports closure of audit findings and Process Hazard Analysis recommendations. Assists with maintaining OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) compliance at PSM designated facilities. Develops and maintains critical documentation, metrics, and tools related to the PSI Program. Collateral duties may include participating in process safety related incident investigations, attending PHAs, participating in PSM audits, field walk-down of P&IDs, and creating high consequence scenario diagrams. Up to 20% travel is required.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Support capital, small cap, and maintenance projects under periodic supervision
Assure that all levels of PSI are identified, created, maintained, and communicated throughout the business unit
Support program growth and day-to-day operations to support a high performing process safety organization
Identifies potential program gaps and human error traps and develops mitigation and improvement strategies
Works with other program owners and other PSI program managers across the company to remove silos and promote integrated strategies
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors of Science or 10+ years of experience in related oil and gas operations or process safety
Experience working with PSI or managing document control
Ability to communicate to a wide variety of audiences about technical subjects
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors of Science in Engineering or HSE related field
Experience draft corporate standards
Experience with Agile project development
Experience supporting compliance and audit activities
Experience with HAZOP and MOC

The anticipated salary range for this position is $ 97,800 – $ 192,600 . The selected candidate’s compensation will be determined based on their skills, experience, and qualifications.
