Job Purpose: Monitor and inspect circuitboard assemblies manufactured in the SMT department utilizing AutomaticOptical (AOI) and/or X-ray (5DX) equipment to ensure product quality andreliability. Nature of Duties: Monitor SMT product at defined station(s)utilizing AOI or 5DX Identify components including part numbers, values,package size/shape, placement and solderability Report findings toappropriate personnel, and record findings on applicable documentationPerform other responsibilities as needed Education and Experience:Experience utilizing AOI and/or 5DX equipment Working knowledge of IPCworkmanship guidelines Excellent written and oral communication skills,and able to handle multiple tasks at once May do a lot of standing andwalking andmay lift up to 35 pounds. Manual dexterity and hand-eyecoordination necessary. Must be available for overtime as needed Musthave a strong attention to detail.
