You\'ll become fullyintegrated into our mill, working directly with executives andmanagement with an assigned mentor to maximize your growth anddevelopment. During this time, our Entry Level Engineer will receive acomprehensive orientation to Domtar, full exposure to the mill, and workclosely with operations and engineering in various functional unitswithin the facility on project intake, scope, design, documentation, androllouts. This role will support projects and day to day support needsacross the Paper Mill. The ELE\'s will also work as substitute shiftsupervisor to help gain the hands-on leadership skills needed to aid infuture advancement. Advancement or rotation into other areas of the millare supported and encouraged to provide a well-rounded exposure to theentire pulp and paper making process. Career advancement exists inoperations, maintenance, quality assurance, product development,wastewater treatment, environmental and safety operations. Responsibilities will include (but not limited to): * Lead amill trial to include: writing the trial plan, project coordination,data analysis, documentation of findings, recapping results tomanagement and providing innovative and cost effective solutions. *Lead engineering projects. * Manage an operating area\'s crew. *Relief shift supervisor * Participation in engineering safety projectteams. Minimum Qualifications: * Must be a recent graduate from anaccredited degree program. Desired majors include Paper ScienceEngineering and Chemical Engineering * Proficient with Microsoft Officeapplications. * Technical writing and presentation skills. * CADexperience preferred but not required. * Up to 10% travel to U.S. millsbased on project requirements. Preferred Qualifications: * Relevantinternship or co-op preferred.
