Our client in the paper and packaging industry is seeking a Process Control Engineer to join their team. As a Process Controle Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering team supporting maintenance, operations, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have PLC programming and troubleshooting, an education in engineering, and be open to being onsite which will align successfully in the organization.

What’s the Job?
Responsible for designing, upgrading, troubleshooting, and maintaining the control systems including sensors, controllers, PLC's, DCS's, and process actuators on a world class 2-ply recycled linerboard machine. The successful candidate will provide process control support to all areas of the mill including:
Troubleshooting existing systems -- Honeywell Experion, GE Fanuc, AB PLC 5, and SLC 500
Maintaining and Upgrading controls network and providing periodic reports indicating the network's health
Upgrading existing systems when opportunities arise
Designing and implementing new control strategies to increase productivity and quality
What’s Needed?
Must be a degreed Engineer (Chemical, Electrical or related field), with 2-5 years hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining systems.
Experience with Honeywell Experion, GE Fanuc, AB PLC 5, and SLC 500 strongly preferred.
Must have demonstrated ability to tune control loops, have excellent communication skills, and a proactive leader with capital project management experience.
