Description
Under close supervision, maintain the performance of the process control system by identifying and reporting poor performing process areas and process automation components or platforms.
Identify and report poor performing processes by having process understanding of mineral, chemical, and/or concentrate processing systems
Identify and report poor performing regulatory or advanced control, controller equipment, software issues, and human machine interface problems
Identify and report faulty process instrumentation by having understanding of basic sensors and actuation
Identify and report issues with process control systems communication and plant historians
Understanding of alarm philosophy and alarm performance metrics
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline with no experience requiredPreferred:
Experience with/ Exposure to Rockwell Automation Products such as CompactLogix, ControlLogix, Factory/Talk Enterprise or similar control platforms
Experience with/ Exposure to HMI development in Rockwell Automation or similar
Experience with/ Exposure to PLC code development such as Ladder Logic, Function Block, Produce/Consume, and Add On Instructions
Experience with/ Exposure to Alarm creation and management
Experience with/ Exposure to Control narratives, PFDs and P&IDs
Experience with/ Exposure to Communication/Networking. DLR Rings and REP Rings
Experience with/ Exposure to Workstations and Servers

Compensation:
The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $73,000-$100,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
