  Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is currently seeking a Principal Pricing Analyst (Level 3) or a Sr Principal Pricing Analyst (Level 4) to join our Pricing & Estimating organization. This position will be located on-site in either Palmdale, CA, Melbourne, FL or Baltimore, MD .

  ResponsibilitiesDevelops, analyzes, evaluates, coordinates, prepares, and supports cost proposals to government and commercial customers.Review Requests for Proposals (RFP) and proposal documents for compliance to customer specifications/requirements and adherence to company policy.Ensure Northrop Grumman Estimating System compliance and provide interpretation of RFP requirements.Interact with personnel and management at all levels; interface and coordinate with other business management personnel on a daily basis. Provide reviews of all estimates prior to delivery and review by senior management.Prepares and presents costs estimates to management, customer representatives and government audit agencies.Ensures adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulations, Truthful Cost or Pricing Data, and Northrop Grumman policies and procedures with regard to cost proposal preparation, review, compliance, submission, updates/revisions, and negotiations.Supports audit requests, fact-finding, and negotiation discussions and the program budget baseline process. This requisition may be filled as either a Principal Pricing Analyst (Level 3) or a Sr Principal Pricing Analyst (Level 4).

   Basic Qualifications for a Principal Pricing Analyst (Level 3): Must have 10 years of related experience in lieu of degree. Will consider: Bachelor's degree with 6 years of pricing/estimating, finance, contracts, proposals, and/or business-related experience, OR a Master's Degree with 4 years of relevant experienceMust have an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain/maintain program access and Top Secret ClearanceMust be able to work on-site in either Palmdale, CA, Melbourne, FL or Baltimore, MDAbility to travel as needed (up to 25% of the time)Dynamic, self-starter with strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Excellent oral and written communication skillsProficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word Basic Qualifications for a Sr Principal Pricing Analyst (Level 4): Must have 14 years of related experience in lieu of degree. Will consider: Bachelor's degree with 10 years of pricing/estimating, finance, contracts, proposals, and/or business-related experience, OR a Master's degree with 8 years of relevant experienceMust have an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain/maintain program access and Top Secret ClearanceMust be able to work on-site in either Palmdale, CA, Melbourne, FL or Baltimore, MDAbility to travel as needed (up to 25% of the time)Dynamic, self-starter with strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentExcellent oral and written communication skills.Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word Preferred Qualifications: Ability to perform and apply cost accounting, pricing and estimating concepts and principlesKnowledge of FAR/DFARS and other Government RegulationsAbility to meet deadlines in a challenging, multi-tasking environmentStrategic/Competitive pricing experienceProficiency in ProPricerActive U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret ClearanceSalary Range: $76,600 - $133,100

  Salary Range 2: $95,000 - $164,900

  The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

  Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
