We are the Azure Customer Experience (CXP) team, and we are looking for a Principal TPM Manager to join our team to help expand the footprint of our customer care, trust, reliability, engagement, and observability experiences across all Azure clouds.

Responsibilities
As a Principal TPM Manager on our team, you will have a direct and clear impact on our products and customers. In this role, you will guide and coach a team of Technical Program Managers as they work with engineering teams across Azure to define our sovereign cloud support strategy and manage our deployments to new clouds.
Our work has high visibility with the Azure leadership team and ample opportunities to share our successes and receive support and guidance from them. The scope of responsibilities includes:
Distilling customer (internal and external) scenarios and challenges into clear, concise requirements for engineering
Driving broad initiatives across Azure and CXP (Customer Experience)
Defining organizational strategies for managing a diverse portfolio of products
Engaging with partner teams across Azure and Microsoft and influencing them to drive alignment on strategies and roadmaps
Maintaining stakeholder engagement and communication channels
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related field and 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
OR equivalent experience.
4+ years people management experience.
3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with building services on Azure or other cloud services
Experience with data analytics and related technologies, including Kusto (Azure Data Explorer), SQL, ETL (extract, transform, load) technologies, machine learning (ML), and PowerBI.
Ability to lead through ambiguity while partnering across organizations
Demonstrated ability to come up-to-speed quickly on a new technical domain
Experience using data to drive prioritization and measure progress
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
Collaboration and communication skills (verbal and written)
Technical Program Management M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year.
