The Red Hat Artificial Intelligence Business Unit, the team that is helping organizations across the globe AI-enable their business,is looking for a Principal Technical Marketing Manager residing anywhere Red Hat does business (100% remote is fine!).
The ideal candidate understands Artificial Intelligence and Data Science technologies and will havetechnical responsibility for both overseeing and developing all technical messaging and content for Red Hat’s AI portfolio. You’ll be working alongside a team that spans five countries and four continents.
As a Principal Technical Marketing Manager, you will have both inbound and outbound marketing responsibilities. You’ll develop technical content that can be used in presentations, videos, e-books as well as sales enablement tools used by thousands of solutions architects, consultants, and partner presales associates. You’ll also be responsible for building demonstrations that can be used at conferences or directly with customers and help shape the direction of Red Hat’s AI offerings by internally communicating requirements and opportunities learned through customer interactions.
What you will do
Be a subject matter expert on the technical features and functions of Red Hat OpenShift AI and be able to demonstrate them to a wide variety of audiences and stakeholders
Create and deliver external content such as technical demos, blogs, how-to videos, papers, articles, etc.
Create, deliver and maintain technical selling materials such as presentations made in Google Slides
Deliver presentations at key industry and Red Hat events to relevant audiences
Train technical sales associates field personnel, as well as partner technical personnel on Red Hat OpenShift AI
Conduct competitive analyses of both commercial offerings and open source projects
Communicate requirements and product improvement opportunities to relevant product stakeholders such as product management and engineering
Ensure Red Hat OpenShift AI content is easy and clear to communicate to a variety of customers at numerous levels
Work with internal stakeholders like product management, engineering, sales, and the larger marketing groups to create content aligned with business needs
Work with external customers, technology partners and community members to create compelling stories and case studies
What you will bring
5+ years of technical marketing management experience with a proven understanding of AI technologies, include MLOps
Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) in Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or related area
A proven track record of success in a fast moving, technical environment including a proven ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly
Ability to create high-quality, compelling technical marketing content quickly and accurately (often from scratch)
Ability to meet deadlines and juggle multiple projects at once while working in a highly complex environment
Charismatic with excellent presentation skills and the ability to energize and excite technical audiences while demonstrating expertise in our offerings
Intuitive and motivated self-starter that can work unsupervised on an existing high-powered experienced team
Knowledge of open source projects, development processes and methodologies is a plus
Ability and willingness to travel if working remotely for potential in-person team meetings in accordance with Red Hat’s travel policies
