  Advanced Integrated Surface Sensors (AISS), an Advanced Technology (AT) Sub-Business Unit within Raytheon, has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Principal Specialist, Program Cost Controls to join the AT program management office finance team.

  The AISS development portfolio consists of primarily domestic programs centered on the development and enhancement of highly technical radar systems. This position is in an exciting, dynamic, and challenging environment with an emphasis on skills in forecasting, large data analysis, and leadership communication. You will be responsible for leading program financial requirements and have Financial Planning & Analysis responsibilities. The lead will need to analyze and understand data quickly in order to make informed business decisions. The candidate will need to exhibit financial independence, possess high business acumen, and exhibit extensive analysis skills. The candidate must be able to interpret and ensure implementation of Raytheon Financial Policies and Procedures to program personnel as part of their daily/weekly communications.

  This position is currently designated as fully remote. However, you will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories).

  Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  The responsibilities of this position include various weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual routines including the following:

  Earned Value reporting

  Baseline Planning and Development

  Estimates at Completion (EACs)

  Risk and Opportunity development and tracking

  External report development

  Financial forecasting and cash management

  FP&A responsibilities: Short Range Outlook (SRO), Annual Operation Plan (AOP) and Long Range Strategic Planning

  Ad hoc analysis

  The candidate will also support various customer and senior management level meetings.

  This position will be the lead analyst of multiple programs.

  Basic Qualifications:

  Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of professional Finance working experience; OR an Advance degree and 3 years of professional Finance working experience. Preferred degrees in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related field.

  Experience with financial systems (SAP, APEX, AO) or similar processes.

  Experience in the use of Microsoft Office Products (VLOOKUP, Macros).

  U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Excellent communication skills (written/verbal) and ability to communicate effectively to various stake holders and senior key team members.

  Earned value Management knowledge (SPI/CPI/TCPI/IEAC/VAR).

  Experience in interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, etc.) in program production.

  Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team environment and lead teams to results.

  Knowledge of Financial Planning and Analysis concepts, related systems, and processes.

  Excellent ability to self-manage / prioritize workload.

  Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  Ability to perform independently and in team environments.

  Additional Information:

  Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

  Relocation assistance is not available.

  The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

  Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

  Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

  This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
